Logistics hall in a strategic location in NRW
Attractive logistics building in an attractive location
For this project, we realized an individual façade design with brand stripes and entrance portals with indirect LED lighting for Logicor. In addition, the location with direct access to the A2 highway between Dortmund and Bielefeld as well as the immediate proximity to the A1 and A44 highways on the north-eastern edge of the Ruhr area makes the new logistics site attractive.
Energy and environment
2,100 photovoltaic panels on the green roof produce 1.5 MWp of electricity. The logistics warehouse is heated by fossil-free VRF heat pumps. The property is equipped with thermal insulation to BEG-40 standard, LED lighting and roof greening. Inside, the roof structure made of glulam timber beams creates a pleasant atmosphere. The outdoor facilities were designed with native plants and the facade with partial greening. Around 12,000 cubic meters of recycled concrete from the demolition of the existing building were reused directly on site for the foundation layers of the new building and traffic areas.
Sustainability certification in accordance with the BREEAM very good standard is being sought for the new building on a brownfield site.
