Hillwood Möckern
Project description
A modern logistics property with five hall units was built directly on the A2 motorway. Four units were realized as a back-to-back concept, supplemented by a separate hall. The clear height of 12.20 m offers optimum conditions for efficient warehousing processes – while complying with all building regulations from the development plan.
Efficiently equipped for demanding logistics processes
The building is suitable as a hazardous materials warehouse in accordance with WHG (German Water Management Act) – a plus point for demanding logistics applications. The roof structure was designed as a timber construction.
Two large canopies provide weather protection during lateral loading and unloading of trucks. One of the units has an office extension on the first floor.
Built on schedule and with a focus on solutions
Despite the ongoing approval process for the drainage, the halls were completed on time – the overall progress was ensured by staggering the construction processes. Or as one team member put it:
"It was a really strong team, I have to say."
