Hillwood Möckern
Project description
A modern logistics property with five hall units has been built directly on the A2 motorway. Four units are arranged in an efficient back-to-back concept, supplemented by a separate hall. With a clear height of 12.20 meters, the building offers optimal conditions for efficient and flexible storage processes – naturally in full compliance with all building regulations of the development plan.
Efficient equipment for demanding logistics processes
The property is designed for use as a hazardous materials warehouse in accordance with the Water Resources Act (WHG). The roof structure was constructed using wood. All building components are documented in the Madaster material database and prepared for later reuse in line with the principles of the circular economy.
Two spacious canopies allow trucks to be loaded and unloaded from the side, protected from the weather. One of the hall units also has a functional office extension on the ground floor.
Despite a parallel approval process for drainage, the halls were completed on schedule. Thanks to clever timing of individual construction processes, overall progress was ensured at all times. Or, as one team member aptly put it:"
