EQT
, Krostitz
: A logistics warehouse designed for maximum space utilization, completed in six months
Project description
North of Leipzig, fabrikon completed a modern logistics facility fabrikon EQT in Krostitz, featuring three flexible-use units, within a six-month construction period.
Short construction time, high efficiency
The project was managed with precision from the handover of the construction site to the delivery of the turnkey logistics facility. Thanks to clear processes and a well-coordinated team, the ambitious schedule was met without compromising on quality or functionality.
Sustainable and versatile
The property was designed to allow for flexible third-party use. Requirements under the German Water Resources Act (WHG), including firewater retention, are an integral part of the design. Part of the roof is already equipped with a photovoltaic system, while the remaining roof area has been prepared to be “PV-ready” for easy retrofitting. Circular construction was also taken into account. The project was registered with Madaster to determine the materials, components, and products used, as well as the amount ofCO2 sequestered and released.
Collaborative Project Management
For this project, EQT chose fabrikon the general contractor for the first time. The fact that the construction of an additional logistics warehouse was commissioned even while this project was still underway is a testament to the collaborative partnership based on mutual respect and trust.
