Project description
The logistics site used by Volkswagen Classic Parts was expanded in the "Hiddeser Feld" business park. Spare parts for classic and vintage cars are shipped all over the world from here.
The extension to the existing building was completed during ongoing operations. Around 264 tons ofCO2 were saved by using glued laminated timber beams instead of steel as the roof structure. The roof was prepared for the later installation of a photovoltaic system to generate electricity (PV-ready).
The two hall sections can be used separately or together. Thanks to the convenient location in the immediate vicinity of the A44 highway and the nearby A7, all major destinations within Europe can be reached quickly.
