Running shoes instead of safety shoes

Strong performance in midsummer conditions

The high temperatures made the race noticeably more challenging and really put all the participants to the test. Due to the heat, the course was shortened from 5.3 km to 4 km. Water stations, wet sponges, and a fire department sprinkler provided relief along the route. With support from spectators and cheers from the team at the finish line, a special atmosphere was created. 

We also performed well in the sports competition: A fabrikon placed 4th out of 91 teams, and our fastest colleague, René, came in 22nd—an impressive result given the field of competitors.

Team spirit on and off the track

Despite the heat, we focused on one thing above all else: running together. A great example: Three colleagues made a conscious decision to run the course together. Side by side, at their own pace, and without worrying about the time.
“We just ran together, however it felt right for us—that’s exactly what made the run special.”
