A day straight out of a fairy tale

This summer, Berlepsch Castle became the setting for everything that defines fabrikon: genuine team spirit, enthusiasm and plenty of shared ‘wow’ moments. Together with our families, we celebrated our summer party – with plenty of opportunity for conversation, laughter and new encounters, away from construction, hall planning and project schedules.

Special Moments
Between the Kennel, the Tower, and the Campfire

Even during the group photo at the Zwinger and the raising of fabrikon, it became clear how we view collaboration—with a great deal of trust, genuine Togetherness, and a desire to create shared “wow” moments, in logistics construction and beyond. There was something to discover everywhere: medieval games like nail-hammering, horseshoe throwing, lance thrusting, the pendulum game, laser crossbow shooting, and XXL Connect 4 provided plenty of laughter, friendly competitions, and many spontaneous teams spanning all kinds of people and generations.

The children took over the bouncy castle (it’s a small miracle it lasted the whole day), had their faces painted, or roasted marshmallows over the campfire. At the “Forge of Happiness,” guests of all ages watched metal being shaped on the anvil—and anyone who wanted to was allowed to swing the hammer themselves. A special highlight was the falconer with his buzzards and ferrets: The brave ones lined up for photos with the animals and had, quite literally, an eagle’s-eye view of the scene.

Those looking for a panoramic view climbed the tower, enjoyed the sweeping vista all the way to Lower Saxony—and some were ceremoniously knighted there.

Middle Ages meet Team Spirit

During the team event, mixed groups competed against each other in medieval games. The focus was not on winning, but on trying things out together, cheering each other on, and sharing plenty of laughs. As it grew darker, the castle transformed into a special stage: a kids' disco, a DJ set, and finally a fire show that captivated guests of all ages. Amidst the lights, flames, and castle walls, the joy and strong sense of community that defined the day were truly palpable.
