Fun and games for young and old on the Fulda
The raft-building competition was all about teamwork and commitment. The aim was to build a raft from the materials provided in order to fetch two sheep (sheep-shaped balloons) from the opposite bank of the Fulda and "bring them to dry land". The race was close, with the team that could assemble the raft and get it into the water the fastest coming out on top. As most of them got wet in the river anyway, the award ceremony turned directly into a water fight - the fun was perfect.
Anyone who still had energy left could let off steam in the bubble soccer and bouncy castle.
Bavarian evening at the alpine hut
Speaking of fun: in the evening, a Bavarian evening awaited us in the Rodenberger Almhütte. The brave and skillful ones broke the record again and again in the nail game with a prepared hammer and bull riding. Everyone was a winner, because we had a lot of fun, whether as record holders or spectators.
When it started to rain, the genuine Bavarian DJ from the Alps kept the atmosphere in the hut going until late into the night. We won't reveal any more.
All in all, it was once again a wonderful festival that brought joy to young and old alike.
