Ludwigsau, North Hesse, December 20, 2023. In the Mecklar-Meckbach industrial park near Bad Hersfeld, we have handed over our largest logistics construction project to date to our client GARBE on a turnkey basis.
All is well for fabrikon's largest project to date
The total of 86,000 m² of hall space, 7,000 m² of mezzanine space, and 3,000 m² Office and social space across two blocks. Ninety loading bridges and 14 ground-level sectional doors are available for loading and unloading trucks between the two buildings. The multi-user property can be divided into 9 units of 10,000 m² each.
Good connections to the A4, A5 and A7 highways and the B27 federal highway make this region near Bad Hersfeld, Bebra and Rotenburg an der Fulda attractive for many companies.
ESG and sustainability as a matter of course
Internationally recognized ESG criteria were observed in the new construction project. It has been awarded DGNB Gold certification from the German Sustainable Building Council. The roof is prepared for a photovoltaic system to generate up to 9.7 MW of electricity.
