Construction begins in July 2022
The facility is located directly off the A10 highway and the B1 federal highway—east of Berlin. The new Tesla Gigafactory is just 15 kilometers away from here. The logistics center features nine loading docks as well as a spacious covered area for side loading and unloading of trucks. A unique feature is the special infiltration trench system, through which rainwater is fully pre-treated and returned directly to the groundwater beneath the facility. A photovoltaic system and numerous EV charging stations for employees and visitors are planned.
The new Panattoni Park also meets the requirements of the Federal Funding Program for Energy-Efficient Buildings (BEG-55) and is certified to the Gold standard according to the criteria of the German Sustainable Building Council.
