New logistics center completed on schedule
Flexible & sustainable & flexibly built
The new logistics center comprises around 29,000 m² of hall space, supplemented by 2,000 m² Office and social space 1,260 m² of storage mezzanine. The three units can be used and rented individually, while wellbeing areas create a pleasant working environment for employees. Sustainability was a consideration from the outset: fossil-free heat generation via heat pumps, preparation for a photovoltaic system, WHG-compliant construction, and DGNB Gold certification. In addition, a green roof was implemented in the ancillary buildings and is planned for the rest of the building.
Cooperation makes the difference
In addition to the technical successes, one thing above all remains: the strong teamwork. It was also a special project for our project team: one of our colleagues, who had previously worked as an architect, took on the role of site manager for the first time - and made a significant contribution to the successful completion of the construction project.
At the handover, the client praised the "impressive way of dealing with challenges in the construction process and a very satisfactory result".
