Within 9 months, fabrikon is building another state-of-the-art logistics center for DHL Supply Chain with around 30,000 m² of floor space. The ambitious schedule only works - as already proven with the third building - if all project participants work together towards a common goal.
Around 37,000 m³ of earth has been moved on the construction site in the past two months - now the building construction can begin. 256 columns will have been installed by the time the logistics center goes into operation in November 2024.
Energy-saving and sustainable for people and the environment
The gold standard of DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) and the ESG sustainability criteria of the EU taxonomy are met. In addition, the Well-Core Standard Gold is achieved for the office area, so that the well-being of the employees is increased. Glulam beams made from sustainable wood are used for the roof structure, which is visible from the inside.
In combination with the fossil-free heating system and the photovoltaic system on the roof, the users at the site are equipped for the future challenges facing people and technology.
