Elli's success story
Focus on the sustainability of logistics buildings
The sustainability of construction processes and buildings is a high priority for fabrikon. Compliance with the criteria and requirements for the construction products used and the execution must be well documented. For Elli, it was a matter of course to undergo further training for this complex task in order to relieve the burden on project and construction management, because "when you consider that the construction industry accounts for a big part of the negative impact on the environment, it becomes clear that much, much more needs to be done in all areas!"
Criteria and specifications for materials, noise pollution, dust pollution, waste separation, EU taxonomy and many other topics must be met in order to achieve DGNB certification. Our DGNB consultant regularly checks whether the contents of the DGNB specifications are being implemented on the construction site and requests the evidence required for complete documentation.
"Sometimes the task is very time-consuming because you don't get all the information or the products on the construction site don't meet the requirements," reports Elli. She finds a solution to every challenge in consultation with the DGNB auditor. As the interface to the DGNB auditor, she communicates the results and requirements for the logistics halls to the fabrikon.
Promoting individual development and growth
At fabrikon , we fabrikon great importance on promoting personal growth. That's why we offer training and continuing education opportunities for everyone and enable individual development and specialization. After gaining her first construction site experience on the Hillwood project in Kirchheim, Elli has now been working at fabrikon for around two years. During this time, she has proven that a trained tourism manager can be a valuable asset to the project management and construction management team in the world of construction sites, excavators, and concrete.
