Construction to begin in October 2022
The logistics complex, featuring 90 loading docks and 14 ground-level sectional doors, will consist of two warehouses that can be flexibly divided into nine units, each starting at 8,500 square meters.
This major project meets the requirements of the Federal Funding Program for Efficient Buildings (BEG-55) and is certified to the Gold standard according to the criteria of the German Sustainable Building Council. A 9.7-megawatt photovoltaic system makes the complex a sustainable source of renewable energy. The construction project is one of the largest logistics projects currently underway in Germany.
The site in the Mecklar-Meckbach industrial park offers excellent access to Federal Highway B27 and the A4 highway. Other major European highways, such as the A5, A7, and A44, are within easy reach.
