fabrikon will run in the 2026 Kassel Marathon

Full of energy on and off the course: Team fabrikon at the 20th Kassel Marathon

With just under 18,000 participants, the 20th Kassel Marathon set a new attendance record—and we were right in the thick of it. Whether in the corporate run, the half marathon, or our debut run over the full 42.195 kilometers: With perfect running weather and a fantastic atmosphere, the fabrikon team showed just how much joy and camaraderie can be found in tackling challenges together.

Strong Together at Every Distance

A total of 19 colleagues took part in the company run, which this year followed a new route through the BUGA and along the Auedamm to the finish line at the Auestadion. The team’s motivations were as varied as our daily tasks: Ambitious runners were aiming for personal bests, while others were primarily interested in experiencing this special event or had specifically prepared as a team in the weeks leading up to it.

Four team members gave it their all on the half-marathon course. Our first “ fabrikon ” finisher of the full marathon marked a very special milestone—an impressive achievement that was celebrated by the entire team.

Success on the Mascot Track, Too

Our highlight: At the mascot race at the Auestadion, our “fabrikonchen” secured a strong third-place finish and provided great entertainment.

Crossing the finish line at the lively Auestadion has already reignited the competitive spirit in many—the first plans for relays and half-marathons next year are already taking shape. We’re thrilled by the strong sense of camaraderie and would like to thank everyone who ran and cheered from the sidelines!
