Logistics property with 63,600 m² of warehouse space completed
Project data and sustainability
The building comprises around 63,600 m² of hall space and 2,840 m² of office space. The division into seven units allows for flexible use to meet different logistical requirements. In addition to space efficiency, the focus is on sustainability.
The property was designed in accordance with current sustainability standards and meets both the criteria of the EU taxonomy and the requirements for DGNB Gold certification according to NLO23. In addition, its inclusion in the Madaster material database also makes it suitable for the circular economy. This means that the logistics building achieves a high ecological standard – a key factor for investors and users.
Construction as a team effort
A distinctive aspect of the project was the challenging topography of the site. The terrain necessitated cuts up to twelve meters deep, resulting in earthworks totalling 221,000 m³. These extensive earthworks demanded meticulous planning and close coordination among all stakeholders. Despite the complex site conditions and a stringent timeline, the project was successfully completed within the stipulated timeframe.
"The last few weeks before completion were particularly intense. The fact that we were still able to complete the project on schedule is thanks to the efforts of the entire team on the construction site and in the back office," explains team leader Sebastian.
